as long as it passes the visual inspection cause you appear to have one on the car..
How much HP does cat delete add?
As a stand alone item, the gain was 2 HP with cat completely removed. The high flow cat tested only had a 1/2 HP gain over the stock cat.
Is a high flow catalytic converter worth it?
Yes in the sense that they allow for the more efficient flow of exhaust gasses, removing restrictions that can impede performance. Vehicle owners who’ve significantly upgraded their engine power output (say, by adding a Stage 3 EST Power Pack) will notice more power by upgrading.
Will a high flow cat cause a check engine light?
Ever wonder why headers and high flow cats cause check engine lights? It’s because the high flow cats are not filtering out as much stuff as the stock cats and the secondary O2 sensors detect this and set a code.
What happens if I remove catalytic converter?
By removing the catalytic converter, you remove this constriction, which means you can operate at a lower operating temperature. You’ll experience the benefits of less friction and load with the unit gone too, which can reduce the overall wear-and-tear on the vehicle over time.
Why does my truck exhaust smell bad?
Smelly car exhaust fumes mean that something is going wrong. It could be leaking fluids, a failing catalytic converter, or imbalanced air/fuel mix.
Will a high flow cat increase mpg?

A new cat will not rais fuel consumption much, But if it has over 100,000 miles on it, You will see a marked increase or “restoration” of gas milage. This is especially true of cars with a secondary air pump.
